The material that I predominately  focus on is clay because of its high plasticity. I essentially use “chamotte” stoneware  in a  block modeling method where I substract matter from the mass .

Once the stoneware is fired, at high temperature, about 1280 °C  degrees, sculpture is “patinated” with wax and pigments (patina is an applied thin layer that gives the desired color tot he piece).

Most of these sculptures can be done in bronze. Please contact me for further information.

These pieces generally stay inside but stoneware is a very resistant and not  sensitive to frost material , so they can be set up outdoors.
